Zakynthos Port of Entry
37° 46.8′ N · 20° 54.1′ E · approximate
Zakynthos is the only official port of entry on the island and the place to clear in or out of Greece in the southern Ionian. The Port Authority (Limenarchio) is in the harbour, next to the ferry quay.
Practical
Coordinate is the ferry terminal (OpenStreetMap), used as an approximate position for the port offices. The Port Authority of Zakynthos is staffed 24 hours a day, tel +30 26950 28117 or 28118, VHF channel 12 (Zakynthos Port Fund). Clearance follows Greek national rules: non-EU crew clear immigration here, the yacht needs its digital Transit Log via the AADE portal and proof of paid TEPAI cruising tax, plus registration, insurance and crew list (see the area entry and clearance notes). The Port Fund collects berthing dues separately from its own office (Monday–Friday 8am–3pm, tel +30 26950 48157) or its quay kiosk (3pm–9pm except Mondays). Using a shipping agent is optional for private yachts under 500 GRT. If you need to clear and a cruise ship is in, expect the port area to be closed to private traffic for the day (Noonsite reports).
