Vathi Port Police & Fuel (Ithaca)

Vathi is Ithaca's administrative port: the Port Authority of Ithaca issues the island's anchoring restrictions (e.g. the Atokos summer exclusion zone), and fuel and water can be had by tanker on the quay.

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap node for the Coast Guard and Port Authority of Ithaca on the Vathi waterfront. Sea-Seek gives the harbour office tel (+30) 26740 32909. See also the separate Kassianos fuel station entry. Diesel and water can be delivered to the quay by tanker; Marina Ithakis on the north side of the bay also arranges water and diesel delivery. The Kassianos fuel station on the east side of the bay reopened in June 2024. Noonsite cruisers reported water and fuel tanker crews helping with lines in 25 kn gusts (2014). Port Authority Decision 13/2025 bans sailing, anchoring, fishing, swimming and landing within 300 m of Atokos from 1 May to 31 October.
