Tolo Harbour
37° 30.9′ N · 22° 51.5′ E · approximate
A small working harbour tucked into the narrows of Stenon Tolo at the SW end of the resort, with excellent all-round shelter and the islands of Romvi and Daskalio just across the strait.
Practical
Coordinate approx: placed in the basin just inside the mapped harbour light (OSM 37.51453, 22.85787) close to the Sea-Seek waypoint (37°30.86'N 22°51.43'E). Sailing Issues: excellent all-round shelter inside, nicer than the anchorage; water level rises in SW winds; wash from speedboats can make lying alongside uncomfortable. Sea-Seek: the inner harbour is usually full of fishing boats — moor on the outside of the S mole, which is sheltered from the afternoon breeze but completely open to the W. Tolo Port Authority office is on the waterfront (OSM 37.51731, 22.85767). Excursion boats leave daily for Spetses, Hydra, Poros and Monemvasia (Greeka). Minimarkets, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, laundromat and the Intro Dive centre are a few minutes' walk.
