Tolo Anchorage

37° 31.1′ N · 22° 51.8′ E · approximate

Open-roadstead anchoring off Tolo's long hotel-lined beach, between the village and the chapel islet of Koronisi — convenient for a swim and a taverna but busy with watersports.

Practical

Coordinate approx: placed off the village waterfront, west of Koronisi islet (OSM 37.519, 22.8665), in the area Sea-Seek describes ('on mouille devant le village'). Sea-Seek: good holding, but the afternoon sea breeze can make it rolly. Sailing Issues: the anchorage near the watersports area can be crowded and noisy. Keep clear of swimming-zone buoys and jet-ski lanes. Land the dinghy at the harbour, not on the beach.

Best for

Calm-morning swim stop off the beach

Season

Jun–Sep; rolly in afternoon SE breeze
