Skala Anchorage

38° 4.1′ N · 20° 47.9′ E

An open roadstead off the 10 km pine-fringed sand beach of Skala, Kefalonia's biggest south-coast resort, with a Roman villa with mosaic floors in the village.

Practical

Coordinate is the Sea-Seek 'Skala (Kefalonia)' position (38°04.08'N 20°47.88'E). Sea-Seek describes only the beach; there is no harbour. Exposed to the east and south: a calm-weather lunch stop, with Poros harbour 4 nm north for the night. Bluemanta Diving and a water-sports centre operate from the beach.

Best for

Fair-weather swim stop on the south coast
