37° 38.5′ N · 23° 9.9′ E · approximate

A calm, pine-backed beach north of Palaia Epidavros harbour, reached on foot from Vagionia beach next to the port; boats anchor off it when the quay is full.

Practical

Coordinate is approx: placed in the water about 300 m east of the OSM Kalamaki beach centroid (37.64175N 23.16198E). Kavas recommends anchoring in the gulf and going ashore by dinghy or paddle; Kalamaki is calm, secluded, rocky and sandy, and Vagionia beach is next to the port (OSM 37.64095N 23.15935E). No-Frills Sailing lists Kalamaki beach to the north. SailingIssues warns that the former north-west harbour anchorage is now a buoyed swimming area, so keep outside the swimming buoys. No pilot depth or holding data found; the bay is shallow, so sound your way in. Open to the east.
