Two established offshore races each year from Faliro (Athens) to Hydra and back, 36 nm each way — 'Greek Revolution – Hydra' in late March and another around 28 October.
Practical
Coordinate approx: Hydra harbour, the finish. The March regatta opens Hydra's season around the 25 March national holiday; the October race runs around the 28 October holiday. Dates are set annually — check with the organisers. The harbour fills with race boats over those weekends.
