A wide bay under a majestic arch of cliffs with three beaches — an excellent lunch bay just north of Patitiri.
Practical
Since 2024 there are 8+ free mooring buoys at Monica beach to protect posidonia, and anchoring there is forbidden. Elsewhere anchor in 5–10 m on sand with solid holding, or take lines to rocks under the cliffs. Heavy swell gets in easily and there is little shelter in the prevailing NE; overnight only in lighter conditions. Sea urchins and reefs in the SSW corner (Sailing Issues). Expect charter traffic (noforeignland).
