Pythagorio is the easiest provisioning stop in SE Samos, with groceries, bakeries and a chandler all walkable from the quay.

Practical

Several grocery stores within walking distance (2017: cheaper than many other islands), two bakeries, a butcher and a fish shop (my-sea). A well-stocked chandlery is on the main street running inland from the harbour, plus a small, often-closed shop in Samos Marina. Camping Gaz is sold at the supermarket furthest from the water on that same main street. Laundry in town and coin laundry at the marina. A large supermarket (Bazaar) is on the road between Vathy and Pythagorio - taxi or rental car. Aramis rentals is noted as cruiser-friendly. Position is the town centre (approx).
