Loutraki Harbour (Skopelos)
39° 10.0′ N · 23° 36.9′ E
Skopelos' north-west ferry port below the hill village of Glossa, with a seasonal floating pontoon for yachts.
Practical
Floating pontoon (late May to about late October): 2.5 m along the north side, 2 m or less on the south; room for 5–7 monohulls per side, some lazy lines. Book a berth near the ferry dock through sailaegean.eu on VHF 69 or +30 694 414 8699 (Sailing Issues). Port station tel. 2424033033 (skopelos.com). The basin is mostly shallow with poor holding in weed and soft mud; if anchoring, use the south side and stay clear of ferry manoeuvres (MarinaTips). Frequent ferries and hydrofoils make swell and noise. Water/electricity by card (supermarket/kiosk); supermarket delivers to yachts; warm showers near the grill house. Eat at Vrahos (beach) or Petrino (pontoon). Church of Agios Nikolaos stands on a 7th-century Byzantine temple site.
