Levitha North Cove
37° 0.2′ N · 26° 27.8′ E
A small cove half a mile west of the East Cove, very well sheltered from westerlies. A CruisersWiki author rode out a Force 8 gale here in 1998.
Practical
Drop the anchor as close as possible to the NE corner, back to the south, and run a long line (about 80 m) from the bow to the west shore. Open to the south. A path from the NE corner leads to the hamlet and the East Cove.
Best for
Gale shelter with a long line ashore
