Fry Harbour (Kasos)
35° 25.1′ N · 26° 55.4′ E
The harbour of Fry (Fri), Kasos's little capital, where ferries from Piraeus, Crete and Karpathos call. On the town quay, yachts have found free berthing and services and very few other visiting boats.
Practical
MarinaTips (Port Fri): free water, electricity and berths 'as of 2021'; verify locally. A workshop for repairs, shops, an ATM and a service station are nearby. Its description calls the quay well protected, but its wind rating says the harbour is exposed: plan for the cautious reading. Space is very limited. The outer mole is free when no ferry is due (MarinaTips, Fri East); move if a ferry is expected. Port Authority (Limenarcheio) +30 22450 41288 (kasos.gr). Ferries: Piraeus about three times a week, plus fast boats to Karpathos and Sitia, Crete (kasos.gr). Not a port of entry.
Best for
A genuinely off-the-beaten-track Greek harbour town
Season
