A deep, clear west-coast bay named by greeka as one of Chios's best dive spots, with dives straight off the beach or from your own anchored boat.
Practical
Greeka lists Elinda as a dive site; the bay is unorganised and protected from the winds, with deep crystal-clear water (greeka beach page). The beach shelves steeply — anchor in about 7-10 m on sand and seagrass (Grecosailor anchored at 7 m). No dive centre is based here; guided dives come by boat from Chios Town or Karfas. Position approximate: Grecosailor's anchoring position, used as the dive entry point.
