my-sea lists an anchorage ('Vali') in Ormos Chrysomilia but gives no depth, holding or shelter data, and the cruising guides reviewed do not describe it - approach with a large-scale chart and sound in; the north end of Fourni faces the Samos-Ikaria strait and the meltemi. The village is reached from Fourni town by the road along the island's spine.
