Aspronisi Anchorage (Lipsi)

The only anchorage among the white Aspronisi islets east of Lipsi, between Makry and Makro Aspronisi, with a white beach and day-tripper crowds.
Practical
Coordinate from Grecosailor (37°18'23.1"N 26°48'14.1"E); Sailing Issues' map view point falls on the islet. Sailing Issues: anchor in 4–11 m on sand, pebbles, rock and boulders — use a tripline; very busy in August; day-trip caiques leave around 5pm. Megalo Aspronisi has no adequate anchorage. Grecosailor: no protection — daytime, good weather only; boulders can snag the anchor.
