Voudia Bay (Milos)
36° 44.7′ N · 24° 32.2′ E
An industrial bay south of Pollonia, used for loading minerals from the island's mines. It is not pretty, but it gives better shelter than Pollonia when the meltemi is strong.
Practical
Sailing Issues calls it a 'hideous industrial bay' but safer than Pollonia in strong meltemi. Pin is the OpenStreetMap bay position. A fixed red light (Voudhia, F R) marks the loading pier. Keep clear of ships at the mineral pier. Holding and depth were not stated in our sources; sound in carefully. Voudia beach (pebbles) lies to the south-west.
