A large sand-and-pebble beach on the NE coast with crystal water and shady rocks, regarded as one of the best on Andros.
Practical
Vulnerable to winds from NNE through SSE (SailingIssues), so it is a stop for calm or westerly days, not a meltemi anchorage. Sunbeds and a summer tavern ashore; 14 km by road from Gavrio, half on gravel (Municipality of Andros). Pin is the SailingIssues anchorage marker.
Best for
NE-coast beach stop on calm days
Season
