Varvarousa Beach (Syros)
37° 28.1′ N · 24° 53.8′ E
A remote beach at the head of the small bay behind Varvarousa islet, with no road and no village: you arrive by yacht, by caique from Kini or on a footpath.
Practical
Position from OSM (beach outline). Greek Wikipedia: remote and uninhabited, reached by boat (sailing yachts in summer and a regular caique from Kini) or on foot; a single stone house built in 1981 stands at the edge of the bay. No facilities: bring water and take rubbish back. Anchor at Varvarousa Bay; the bay is steep-sided and gusty in a meltemi.
