Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Parikia)

37° 5.1′ N · 25° 9.1′ E

The 'Church of a Hundred Doors', one of the most important Byzantine monuments in Greece. Tradition says Saint Helen, mother of Constantine the Great, founded it in 326; the complex was remodelled under Justinian in the 6th century, and its baptistery still has a cruciform font.

Practical

About 400 m from Parikia's main square and a five-minute walk from the yacht quay (Wikipedia). It is a working church, so cover shoulders and knees. Opening hours and the small Byzantine museum's ticket are not given in the sources consulted, so check at the gate. The Dream Yacht base guide lists it among the top things to do on Paros.
