A blond-sand beach shaded by tall tamarisks in the second bay south-east of Mersini, with a taverna behind it and a short walk up to Chora.
Practical
This is the alternative when Mersini port is crowded: pleasant surroundings and excellent holding in sand (sailingissues). schinoussa.gr says the beach is about 1 km from the village and has one taverna (Livadi restaurant & studios, OSM). Tholari cove is a 5-minute walk away. The bay is open to the south, so leave in a southerly.
