Glyfada Marinas (A–D)

37° 51.7′ N · 23° 44.8′ E

Glyfada's four marina basins sit on the Athens Riviera south of Alimos, beside shops and cafés. They are an alternative Athens berth, mostly for local motor yachts.

Practical

PredictWind lists four basins with a stated total of 750 berths (its basin figures add up to 810), yachts up to 35 m depending on depth and entrance, about 500 power and water pillars, refuelling and very small repairs. A reef NW of Glyfada 4 marina is marked by all four cardinal buoys (SailingIssues), so approach with the chart. The X96 airport bus also serves Glyfada. VHF and rates were not verified, so call ahead. Position is the OSM/Nominatim 2nd Marina (2η Μαρίνα Γλυφάδας) on Poseidonos Avenue. The other basins in OSM: 1st Marina 37.85979, 23.74888; 3rd Marina 37.86288, 23.74327; 4th Marina 37.87084, 23.73332 (the one with the reef to its NW). No charter base at Glyfada could be verified; the main Athens fleets are at Alimos, Zea and Lavrio.
