General Hospital of Syros 'Vardakeio & Proio' (Ermoupoli)

The Vardakeio & Proio General Hospital, the main hospital of the Cyclades' capital, on the Neorion side of Ermoupoli about 600 m south-west of the yacht quay.

Address: Georgiou Papandreou 2, Ermoupoli 84100; switchboard +30 22813 60500 (hospital site and OSM). OSM tags it with an emergency department. The site (Greek only) posts the on-call duty roster and outpatient clinic hours. Several pharmacies cluster on the streets just north and east of the hospital, and Medcare medical supplies is nearby. For emergencies dial 112 or 166 (ambulance); at sea call the Coast Guard on 108 or VHF 16.
