A bay just NW of Batsi where you can anchor in about 5 m off the busy Kypri beach, or more quietly near the little church of Agios Kyprianos at the east end.
Practical
Depth about 5 m (SailingIssues). Tavernas ashore. From here visit the five-storey Hellenistic Tower of Agios Petros inland (about 20 m high) and the 14th c. Zoodochos Pigi monastery. Same west-coast exposure as Batsi: sheltered from the meltemi swell but hit by gusts off the land in strong northerlies; open to the SW. Pin is the SailingIssues anchorage marker.
