Cycladic Gastronomy Festival 'Nikolaos Tselementes' (Sifnos)

36° 58.4′ N · 24° 43.4′ E · approximate

Every September, cooks from across the Cyclades gather on Sifnos for a weekend festival honouring Sifnos-born chef Nikolaos Tselementes, author of Greece's classic cookbook, with tables of island dishes to taste, exhibitions, music and dancing.

Practical

Organised by the Cultural Association of Sifnos, the Municipality and the South Aegean Region (municipality). Tselementes was born in Exampela, Sifnos, in 1878 (Wikipedia). Dates and venue change each year, so check the municipal announcements before planning a September visit. The coordinate is approximate (Apollonia, the usual hub). The inventory name 'Klimataria' could not be verified as the festival's venue, so it is omitted.
