An easy evening loop from the quay: up the paved main street to the square, through the Gothic gate into the 15th-century Kastro, and on to Sifneiko beach for the sunset over Sifnos.

Kavas: from the marina a paved road leads to the central square and on to the Kastro settlement. Antiparos.com: Sifneiko (Sunset) beach is about 500 m from the main square. Total about 1.5 km return, flat, with cafes and bars along the way (see Sifneiko Cafe and Boogaloo). Position approximate: the Kastro, mid-route (OpenStreetMap way 36780992).
