Andros Route 3: Chora to Ormos Korthiou via Dipotamata

A point-to-point walk from Chora down the Dipotamata ravine, lined with old watermills and an arched bridge, past Faneromeni castle to Korthi bay, perfect if the boat is moving between the two harbours.

9.8 km, 3.5 hours, moderate (11.5 km and 4.5 hours with the detour to the Upper Castle, Faneromeni); maximum altitude difference 470-550 m. Starts on the road from Chora to Paraporti beach next to the taverna of the same name. Water at Syneti; food and drink in Chora, Ormos Korthiou and the cafes in Syneti and Kochylou.
