Example price: SSI Open Water EUR 500 including materials and equipment (2026 site; verify). Dive sites named by amorgos.gr: the Nikouria underwater cave (sponges, fish) just outside Agios Pavlos, and the Marina 3, a cargo ship sunk in 1981 near the islet of Skinopi. The 'Authentic Big Blue' freediving tournament has been held on Amorgos since 2017 (amorgos.gr). Another operator, We Shall Sea (weshallsea.com), runs courses from Camping Kastanis.
