Zone de Apooiti (marina-managed moorings)

16° 43.7′ S · 151° 28.7′ W

The mooring zone right outside Marina Apooiti, run by the marina operator. It suits boats waiting for a berth, starting or ending a charter, or wanting the marina's services without going alongside.

Practical

Limited to 11 boats under Arrêté 911 CM (article 11.2). The number of places and the length of stay are set by the marina operator's own rules. Arrange a buoy in advance with the marina manager on VHF 12 or 16, or by phone (40 66 12 20, Monday to Friday). A 2020 cruiser report found free buoys could be picked up first and registered at the office, with the mooring price the same as a side-tie berth (verify locally). Marina rubbish bins are for marina customers only. Fresh water from the marina taps with the office's permission. Centroid of the zone corners in the arrêté.
