Scuba Tank Fills (Hemisphère Sub, Apooiti)

16° 43.7′ S · 151° 28.6′ W

Hemisphère Sub at Marina Apooiti is listed for air and nitrox fills. It's the place to top up a boat's own scuba tanks in the Raiatea–Taha'a lagoon.

Practical

PADI lists Hemisphère Sub (Raiatea) for air fills, nitrox, equipment rental and equipment service. Its website says it is open every day, year-round, and runs two dive centres; the 2025 brief also places a dive operator on the Marina Uturoa page. Phone 40 66 12 49 or 87 72 19 52, hsbraiatea@gmail.com. French Polynesian rules (per the Tahiti Cruisers Guide) require cylinders to have a hydrostatic test within 5 years and an annual visual inspection, with paperwork; without it a shop can legally refuse the fill. Call ahead to confirm fill times and price (not published).
