Uturoa Town Quay
16° 43.8′ S · 151° 26.6′ W
Uturoa's downtown marina and public quay on the waterfront, next to the ferry terminal, market and supermarkets. Raiatea's port of call for provisioning and formalities.
Practical
A few short-stay berths at the village dock (don't block the fuel dock) and along the main quay outside (keep clear of ferries and local traffic). Check availability with the harbour office (40 60 26 09 or 40 66 31 52). The Shell fuel dock is alongside the quay: 7 m depth, open Monday to Friday all day and weekend mornings. In strong trades the quay is exposed and getting off can be hard (cruiser report); boat wakes make it bumpy, so rig fenders low. The marina gate closes at night. Position is the Shell station beside the public docks (Tahiti Cruisers Guide).
Best for
A quick alongside stop for fuel, groceries and the Gendarmerie
