Escales Anchorage Booking (DPAM, Raiatea–Taha'a)

Every overnight night stop in a Raiatea or Taha'a regulated anchorage zone (ZMR) has to be booked in advance through the DPAM 'Escales' platform.
Practical
Book at escales.gov.pf (fastest), by email to escales.dpam@administration.gov.pf, or by phone to DPAM on 40 54 45 78 (24/7). The booking covers 4pm to 9am; boats under 20 m may use ZMR space between 9am and 4pm without booking, within the zone quota. Anchoring is banned outside the ZMRs and in all passes and channels (Arrêté 911 CM of 26 June 2025, which replaced 1950 CM of 2023). Exempt: boats of 10 m or less without accommodation, for up to 24 h, off Uturoa, Taputapuatea and Taha'a; traditional canoes. DPAM ambassadors visit boats to explain the quotas. Fees are payable once the Escales tariff decree takes effect (announced for 2026); verify locally. The position shown is Uturoa, for reference only.
