Complete the online declaration before you visit. The Gendarmerie checks it and forwards it to Papeete for approval. A September 2025 Noonsite report says the officers warn approval can take 1 to 3 days, so short-stay boats should start clear-out on arrival. It is on Chemin du Tapioi, behind the hospital, a short walk from the downtown quay and Marina Uturoa. Bring passports, ship's papers and your online reference.
