A small motu off the east coast between Vaiare and Afareaitu, with a lagoonarium and coral gardens inside a PGEM protected marine area.
Practical
The motu and its surroundings are shaded as a protected marine area (AMP) on the 2026 chart: no fishing or collecting. Reachable by dinghy from the Vaiare (Patae) ZMR, inside the reef. Watch for the lagoonarium operator's area and swimmers. Tupapaurau Pass is just south.
