The eight designated anchoring points for yachts 20 to 90 m long, each a 150 m swing circle, plus three cruise-ship zones for vessels over 90 m. Superyachts and large charter catamarans over 20 m may anchor only here.

Article 4-A of arrêté 2442 CM as replaced by 89 CM of 24 Jan 2023 (WGS84): Yacht club 1 16°29.243'S 151°45.752'W; Faanui 1 16°28.802'S 151°45.415'W; Hitiaa 1 16°28.223'S 151°44.051'W; Hitiaa 2 16°28.413'S 151°43.719'W; Toopua 1 16°31.437'S 151°46.675'W; Vaitape 1 16°30.838'S 151°45.760'W; Vaitape 2 16°31.075'S 151°45.670'W; Bloody Mary's 1 16°31.595'S 151°44.898'W. Each has a 150 m swing radius. Listed coordinate is Vaitape 1. The 2025 DPAM map labels them Yacht Club, Faanui-Yacht, Hitiaa-Yacht 1 and 2, Toopua-Yacht, Vaitape-Yacht 1 and 2 and Bloody Mary's Yacht. Vessels over 90 m use zones Vaitape BO-1, BO-2 and BO-3 (90–345 m), only with authorization from the Escales (maritime calls) office. Anchoring anywhere else, and in any channel, is prohibited (4th-class fine).
