Bora Bora Duty-Free Fuel (Vaitape)
16° 30.0′ S · 151° 45.3′ W
The Total station on the north edge of Vaitape with its own dock, where yachts can come alongside for diesel and petrol, including duty-free fuel for foreign-flagged boats.
Practical
Total station has a dock with enough water to pull up alongside (Floating Lab Tahiti Cruisers Guide). Duty-free fuel is sold against the duty-free fuel certificate issued at entry. The station has no photocopier, so bring copies of the certificate, boat papers and passport. A Mobil station is also mapped in central Vaitape (OSM), but no fuel dock is reported there. Noonsite: Bora Bora has duty-free fuel, but Raiatea is better for repairs, tank fills and oil disposal.
Best for
Duty-free diesel before heading west
