Position approx: plotted at the Taiohae dinghy dock (NE corner of the bay, from the 2016 no-anchoring-zone corner 8°54.74'S 140°05.91'W); the building itself is a short walk away, see directions. Turn right from the dinghy dock; it is on the right, opposite the gendarmerie. Tel +689 40 92 03 40; Mon-Fri 7:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-3:30pm, closing 2:30pm Fridays (2020, verify). Sells Vini SIM cards and top-ups (Noonsite 2026). Mail held 14 days is returned to sender, so have parcels sent to Nuku Hiva Yacht Services instead. The Subdivision Administrative des Marquises (visa and passport liaison with Papeete) is in the two-storey building on the left just before the OPT, Mon-Thu 8am-11:30am and 2pm-3:30pm (2020). Taiohae has good 4G; the NATITUA fibre cable arrived in 2018.
