approx: placed in Rikitea village from the compendium's walking directions relative to the main dock and St Michael Cathedral (Wikipedia position); expect an error of up to about 300 m. Water: pay a small fee at the mairie, then use the potable dispenser just past the sports centre and Commune building, across the street. Fritz, a German former legionnaire in the light blue house at the north end of the anchorage, has long sold water cheaply. He also runs a washing machine and an open house for yachties (2013-2020; French and German only). Laundry: Magasin JoJo washes, dries and folds in 2-5 days. Titouan and Juliette ran 'yacht services' (laundry, water, gasoline, propane refills, wifi, printing, bike rental) from a house in front of the boulangerie and Magasin Keali. 2021 prices were wash 800 XPF, dry 200 XPF and fold 500 XPF.
