Raivavae Coastal Bike Loop

A flat 23 km ring road links Raivavae's four villages, an easy few hours by bike past taro patches, pines and lagoon views.
Practical
Start: Rairua village (OSM, approximate). Mostly concrete; coral sand with potholes in the SE (Pitufa 2018). There are no steep hills (Moana 2023). Two route traversières cross the ridge north-south and make walking loops with the coast road. Hitching is hard: few cars. Bikes: Magasin Louise (600 XPF/day, Pitufa, verify), Linda's pension, Magali's.
