The brief (2023) lists 2 grocery stores, a water point and a snack bar in Taipivai. Main road just past the marae; cross the bridge on the right, turn right; the shop is on the left. Tel +689 40 92 06 34; Mon-Sat 6am-noon and 2pm-6pm, Sun 7am-11am (2019). Magasin Vainui is just beyond, with a third store in between. Noonsite (2026): two shops to the left, a newer, better-stocked one to the right whose owner speaks some English, orders bread and does laundry.
