Atuona's biggest grocery, across from the town hall, carries produce, frozen meat, canned goods, clothing and a little hardware, and it will often drive a big shop back to the harbour.

Free ride back to the anchorage with a large purchase (2020 and 2022); ask first. Bread on Sunday morning and fresh fish in the cooler (2019). Everything in Atuona shuts from about 11:30 am to 3 pm (2022), and shelves are fullest just after the supply ship. The 2026 brief lists 'two well-stocked grocery stores' in Atuona.
