Tatinja Bay (Šolta)
43° 22.1′ N · 16° 17.0′ E
The best-known bay on Šolta's south coast, about 700 m deep with three arms among pine woods, roughly 2 km from Grohote.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM bay node 'Uvala Tatinja' (Šolta). A nearby restaurant has laid buoys in the north-east part. Anchor in 10-15 m on a mostly weedy bottom and take a line ashore in the narrow arms. Open to southerly winds; the eastern arm gives some cover from the south. Wasps can be a nuisance in these quiet south-coast bays, so keep food covered.
Best for
A quiet swim stop on the south side
Season
Jun-Sep, settled weather
