Rogač harbour (Šolta)

43° 23.7′ N · 16° 18.0′ E

Šolta's main port, where the car ferry and fast catamaran from Split arrive. The inland village of Grohote, with shops and a bank, sits on the hill above.

Practical

Coordinate is the OSM bay node 'Luka Rogač'. Quay berths with water and power. Space to anchor is tight and holding is not great, so most crews use the quay or go to Nečujam instead. A strong north or north-east wind sends a swell into the inlet. Leave the ferry berth clear at all times. Car ferry to Split takes about 45 minutes, the catamaran about 15. Fuel: INA Šolta on the quay.
