Povlja - Luka Bay (Brač)

43° 20.5′ N · 16° 48.1′ E

A multi-armed bay at Povlja on Brač's north-east coast, with an arm for almost every wind. Two restaurants in the western arm, Luka, run buoys.

Practical

Coordinate is the OSM bay node 'Luka' west of Povlja. Restaurant Pipo has yellow buoys (+385 98 781 358) and Rojen has red buoys (+385 98 867 292). You can also anchor with a stern line in the northern arm. Day-trip boats from Makarska and Baška Voda come in by day and usually leave by evening. Povlja village and small port lie in the easternmost arm. Illegal buoys at Luke were removed by the harbour master in 2017, so use the restaurant buoys only.

Best for
