D-Marin Mandalina (Šibenik)

Big, modern marina on the Mandalina peninsula just south of Šibenik old town, built to take superyachts as well as charter boats. It sits deep inside the Šibenik basin, behind St Anthony's Channel, so it is one of the best-sheltered berths on this coast. Many charter fleets start and end here.

Coordinate is the marina basin (OSM way 233048020); D-Marin gives 43°43'08"N 15°53'59"E. About 452 berths for boats from 10 m to 70 m, maximum draft 5.5 m, plus about 30 places ashore, a 50 t travel lift, boatyard, chandlery, supermarket and restaurant. Call VHF 17 on arrival. The basin is closed off from the open sea by the narrow St Anthony's Channel, so wind waves stay small; in strong bura expect gusts but little sea. Getting here: from the open sea you must motor the channel (no sailing, 8 kn limit) - see the passage note. Šibenik old town is a short taxi or water-taxi ride away. Saturdays are busy with charter turnovers. Kornati park tickets are sold in Šibenik by a charter agency on the Mandalina waterfront (B.W.A. Yachting, +385 22 331 803).
