42° 34.9′ N · 18° 13.0′ E · approximate
Cavtat's customs, police and harbourmaster offices sit together on the waterfront and handle yachts clearing in or out of Croatia in season. It is the nearest port of entry to Montenegro.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate (the main Cavtat quay, from the OSM ferry landing). Open to international traffic 1 April–31 October; customs hours in season are about 7 am–7 pm. Berth on the marked clearance section of the quay, then visit police (passports, crew list), customs and the harbourmaster (vignette, crew list). Clear early in the morning in July–August when the quay is busy. Pay tourist tax online at nautika.evisitor.hr. Outside the season, clear at Gruž (Dubrovnik) instead.
