A full-service marina inside a breakwater at Cofresí, just west of Puerto Plata, with customs and immigration on site. It is the north coast's only real marina and an easy port of entry.

GPS 19°50.095N 70°43.535W and VHF 16/68 per the marina site; contact the office before arrival for slip assignment and clearance (+1 809-970-3373; WhatsApp +1 809-501-8055). Enter through a gap in the reef along a marked channel. Facilities per the marina (2026): ultra-low-sulfur diesel and gasoline (about 70,000 gal storage), 30/50/100 A single-phase and 208/480 V three-phase power, water, pump-out, laundry, showers, gym, Wi-Fi, security, backup generators, and an on-site boatyard with haul-out, dry storage and repairs run by Marítima del Atlántico. Rates on request only. Strong northers push a surge into the basin (Virgintino guide). Puerto Plata town and the cable car are about 20 minutes by taxi; Gregorio Luperón International Airport (POP) about 30 minutes.
