Mary's Place (Roatán)

16° 20.3′ N · 86° 28.1′ W

Roatán's most famous dive: a volcanic fissure in the south-side wall where you swim single-file through narrow coral-lined canyons full of glassy sweepers, seahorses and cleaner shrimp.

Practical

Coordinates from PADI's site page. Depths reported 45-110 ft (14-33 m); crevice entry around 60-65 ft. Usually calm and clear on the south side. Dive with a local operator; use RMP dive buoys only with a dive operator — yachts may not use them. Intermediate level.
