Position is DoE mooring 'Japanese Garden East' (West at 19.2678N, 081.34735W); Pallas Reef and Pallas Pinnacle moorings are nearby to the west. Outside the reef on the exposed south coast: calm trade-wind days only, never in southerly swell. Marine Park rules; DoE mooring 3-hour limit. Recommended by a resident diving expert in Virgintino's guide (2015).
