A lee-side lunch or overnight stop off the private golf island 3 miles south of Caye Caulker, anchored near the entrance of its little-used marina.
Practical
Position approximate: a few hundred metres west of the Caye Chapel Marina entrance mapped on OpenStreetMap. A Soundings contributor anchored near the marina entrance on the lee side; the marina was unused at the time. The island is private (golf course, airstrip) and Four Seasons announced a resort development in 2023 (Wikipedia), so do not land without permission. Heavy seagrass around these cayes: look for sand patches. Heading south from here, the Porto Stuck shoal (5.5 ft MLW) must be taken at high tide.
