Bonaire Customs & Immigration Clearance (Kralendijk)

12° 9.0′ N · 68° 16.6′ W

Kralendijk is Bonaire's one and only port of entry for yachts: the customs house sits by the North Pier in the middle of town and immigration is a short walk inland.

Practical

Pre-register with SailClear before arrival (Noonsite). No charge for customs and immigration (Noonsite). Per Virgintino (2015): while clearing you may tie to the dock briefly, take a mooring, or go into Harbour Village Marina; clear Customs first (yellow building with red roof at the head of the North Dock, just north of the main commercial pier), then Immigration in town; if both are closed, report to the Police Station next to Immigration. Most visitors get up to 90 days. Every non-resident visitor also pays the USD 75 Bonaire visitor (tourist) tax per person per visit, payable in advance online (tourismtax.bonairegov.com, per Wikivoyage and Tourism Corporation Bonaire, 2026). You must register at Customs before using a STINAPA overnight mooring. Clear out here too before leaving for Curaçao. Coordinate: Douane office per OpenStreetMap.
